Dev Update 28/04/2026. Getting there.

Hi! I wanted to share multiple changes and report current progress. Done: Updated visuals of the background environment. Rebalanced initial progression. Rebalanced upgrades.

changedDone:Updated visuals of the background environment.
changedDone:Rebalanced initial progression.
addedDone:Rebalanced upgrades. I've removed the more complex upgrades for now, leaving only the common, as a lot of rebalancing is required as the game progresses - so it is more optimal for me to leave the basic ones and add the advanced ones later on once the game progression is done.
addedDone:Advancing through the story. 50% complete. Taking a bit longer than anticipated - as the story progresses, new content is required to be produced + I have to also start diverting attention to marketing efforts.
fixedDone:Fixed bug with doors - apparently, locked doors had a gap allowing one to pass through.
fixedDone:Fixed the font issue. Should now support more characters.

Done:

  • Updated visuals of the background environment.

  • Rebalanced initial progression.

  • Rebalanced upgrades. I've removed the more complex upgrades for now, leaving only the common, as a lot of rebalancing is required as the game progresses - so it is more optimal for me to leave the basic ones and add the advanced ones later on once the game progression is done.

  • Advancing through the story. 50% complete. Taking a bit longer than anticipated - as the story progresses, new content is required to be produced + I have to also start diverting attention to marketing efforts.

  • Fixed bug with doors - apparently, locked doors had a gap allowing one to pass through.

  • Implemented Fog Zones - a hostile effect that traps you inside and slows you down. Can be encountered from day 8 atm.

  • Fixed the font issue. Should now support more characters.

  • Added version control for save files.

  • Added controls binding. You can now set up controls for the keyboard. Next step - Controller and UI navigation.

What That Means:

  • All is going as planned. Taking longer then originally expected, but nothing critical. I believe the changes are worth the wait and I have plenty planned for the future.

  • Continue developing the story.

  • Still looking for a publisher.

  • Still looking for additional playtesters.
