#1 Development Update

Today, we’d like to show you the Lounge Sector Remake.

Steam post image(Still WIP though)

The previous Lounge Sector had optimization issues, but we also received feedback that it didn’t really feel like a lounge area from a design perspective.

It seemed that the area felt more like a simple connection between rooms, rather than a space where each room had a clear purpose.

Because of this, our team decided to remake the Lounge Sector so that it feels more like an actual lounge.

We added indoor landscaping and new wall designs to give the area more density and visual logic.

We also added “landmark” elements to each room so that players can more easily understand where they are.

Things like aquariums, or pipes carrying something that no one can quite identify…

Each room now has distinct elements that should help players recognize their current location more intuitively.

#2 Kickstarter in Preparation!

Many players have also asked us about a Kickstarter campaign for the project.

Since Kickstarter requires backers to take on a certain amount of risk, we had been approaching it somewhat cautiously. However, based on our current development progress, we now believe it is the right time to move forward with a Kickstarter campaign.

The Kickstarter campaign will include various digital-exclusive rewards, an art book, and in-game participation rewards such as text log cameos or audio log recording opportunities.

The Kickstarter page is planned to be revealed sometime in June.

If you have any questions or ideas regarding the Kickstarter, please feel free to share them with our development team through the THE IRONY Discord server. Join Discord server!
