First of all, I would like to sincerely thank all of you who have played our game and shown your support. Over 25,000 players have participated in the recent playtest, and we’ve received a tremendous amount of feedback.

We are carefully reviewing every piece of feedback and actively applying it to development. In particular, we are working to refine the controls and remove anything that feels unfair or frustrating.

Current Development Focus

We are currently fully focused on developing Chapter 1 (the demo version).

The area you experienced during the playtest represents just one sector of the game. In Chapter 1, you will explore around four different sectors.

Today, we’d like to introduce one of them: the “Office Sector.”

Sector Design Philosophy

Each sector in THE IRONY is built around a distinct visual identity.

  • The Lounge Sector was inspired by the “graphical realism” of Marathon

  • The Office Sector is based on Frutiger Aero and DORfic aesthetics

Our goal is for players to instantly recognize where they are the moment they enter a new sector. To achieve this, each area features distinct colors, moods, and design language.

What’s Coming Next

In Chapter 1, you will also encounter:

  • Central Control Room

  • Hospital Sector

  • Kindergarten Sector

We are also currently redesigning the Lounge Sector. (All of them are already WIP!)

We’ll be sharing more details about these areas over time, along with insights into how we create our art.
