The Honest Little Fisher changes
Update v1.2.0: New Islands, Trading, and Captains
Ahoy, Fishers,
this is the biggest update Fischer has ever had. Three new islands, a whole trading economy, and captains who fish for you while you explore. The world just got a lot larger.

Three New Islands
Ironreef Shipyard is all iron and industry. Smoke from the forge, the sound of rivets. Rook runs the trade office there and has contracts for anyone willing to haul heavy catches.
Saltwind Harbor is a proper port town. Luxury goods, fine cloth, imported spices. Elias Kestrel brokers deals and sends you after some of the rarest fish in the sea.
Sun Coral Island is warm, colorful, and has visible coral formations beneath the water. Mina Lani trades in handmade crafts and natural goods. Her quests take you through tropical reef species you have never seen before.
Each island has its own trade office, its own shopkeeper, and its own quest chain. Complete one chain and the shopkeeper will point you toward the next island. The stories connect.
Trading
A proper buy-low-sell-high system. Every island exports different goods. Buy them cheap, sail to another island, sell at a premium. 40 trade goods across categories like provisions, industrial supplies, luxury items, and cultural crafts.
Build your reputation at each island to unlock rarer, more valuable goods. Your cargo hold grows with your boat. The compass points the way.
Otto runs the Home Trade Hub near the starting area. He is your introduction to the whole system.
Hire Captains
10 captains, each with their own boat, stats, and personality. Hire them, assign them to an island, and they start fishing on their own. Real boats, real movement, real catches.
Sail close and they talk to you. Each one has a voice. Ernst offers coffee and wisdom. Laura challenges you to race. Nikolai just nods. Bjoern yells about records.
They earn coins while you explore, trade, or just watch the waves. Salary is deducted automatically. If you run out of money, they pause until you earn more.
38 New Quests
Three quest chains across the new islands:
Rook at Ironreef has 8 industrial fishing contracts. Elias at Saltwind runs 15 trade-themed quests including treasure salvage and a legendary final catch. Mina at Sun Coral guides you through 15 quests exploring tropical reef ecology.
Each chain builds on the last. Finish Ironreef and Rook tells you about Elias. Finish Saltwind and Elias mentions Mina. The world unfolds.
A More Populated World
With captains sailing their routes, new shopkeepers greeting you at the docks, and quest characters telling their stories, the sea feels busier. More boats, more voices, more reasons to keep exploring.
Also
Improved clouds and shadows
Extended tutorial for new players
Remote islands have their own Fish Market and Supermarket

General UI polish
This is a big one. If you have been waiting for more to do in Fischer, now is the time. And if you enjoy the update, a short Steam review helps more than you think.
