The Harbinger of the Deep changes
Heyyo, CraftedCircuitry here! Here again with a new update to the game! I went ahead and completed a good chunk of the final half of the game's content, and am starting to do the final area of the game!
Added
Finishing the Evergrove, the 7th Area, and Starting the 8th and Final Area
New Being Attack : Lightning Grid, Lightning Orbs, and Lightning Blasts
Some extra Beings and elements to earlier Areas to encourage exploration
To-Do List on the HUD of Active Delivery Quests
Hurt SFX
7th and 8th Area BGMs
Trials of the 7th and 8th Areas, with certain conditions activating Flawed Strength
Custom Mouse Cursor
Revolutionist and Tormented Beings
More Map Features and More Delivery Quests

If Delivery Quest targets are an enemy, slaying them counts as completing that Quest
Beings now activate transparency of Trees and Tall Elements

More Beings
For the most part, the added Beings are the same just with little extra features to make them a bit more different. Rich and Super Rich Beings have lots of jewelry around them, while Tormented Beings have physical frustrations manifesting from them.
More Areas?
I'm planning to keep the last few areas a secret until release, or at least until I start sending early copies to influencers. However, progress for them are going very well. I may want to redo them though as I feel it's not the exact vision I want for them. We'll see.
On the optimizations side, the game still runs fine on my usual 5W TDP 45FPS settings on the Steam Deck OLED. The fixes I did before are at least paying off and the game world/the vast Sea is pretty big for what it is.
I hope the game can join festivals and events this year, I was able to get a slot into two later this year. So stay tuned for that!
