addedThis Next Fest was just so great. Honestly I couldn't stop myself being glued to the internet, checking for comments, feedback, download stats and new wishlist additions.
changedThe initial demo had some unfortunate bugs, but we got them (thanks to you!). And both during and after the event, great feedback rolled in. Comments about gameplay mechanics that were hard to understand, or issues with random elements. We've quickly worked to address some of the issues, and so we're now releasing a POST-NEXT FEST PATCH. Right, right, patch notes:
changedThe Player Shield System has a visual overhaul, to show that shields are unique from extra health
changedSolar strong attack damage goes from 6 to 5.
changedAlmost all Catalysts now have a secondary ability: Aurum heals (like before) Wood now gives 2 shield points Sugar poisons you (yes, there is poison now) but also gives a random bonus item. Bamboo removes poison Coal is like a small grenade damaging all Chutney absorbs 1 Searing Ice
changedImproved floating text. This will notify you of many little changes and better tell you of damage given and received. As an example, normal damage is yellow, but critical hits are red.
Solar strong attack damage goes6→5↓Solar strong attack damage goes decreased, nerfThe Girl Who Kicked a Rabbit changes

Hi everyone, Sketchwhale here, the designer.
This Next Fest was just so great. Honestly I couldn't stop myself being glued to the internet, checking for comments, feedback, download stats and new wishlist additions.
The initial demo had some unfortunate bugs, but we got them (thanks to you!). And both during and after the event, great feedback rolled in. Comments about gameplay mechanics that were hard to understand, or issues with random elements. We've quickly worked to address some of the issues, and so we're now releasing a POST-NEXT FEST PATCH. Right, right, patch notes:
The Player Shield System has a visual overhaul, to show that shields are unique from extra health
The rare Solar enemy has a Twin Slap ability.
Solar strong attack damage goes from 6 to 5.
Almost all Catalysts now have a secondary ability:
Aurum heals (like before)
Wood now gives 2 shield points
Sugar poisons you (yes, there is poison now) but also gives a random bonus item.
Bamboo removes poison
Coal is like a small grenade damaging all
Chutney absorbs 1 Searing Ice
Improved floating text. This will notify you of many little changes and better tell you of damage given and received. As an example, normal damage is yellow, but critical hits are red.
Rewrote the dialogue for the level with all the Searing Ice, to better explain the mechanic.
Hopefully some of these changes will playing the demo more fun. Parts of the game don't yet take different languages into account yet, so certain elements will always be in English, until we fix that.
I and the rest of the team look forward to hearing more feedback from you, and are still striving to announce an Early Access release date soon!
Kind regards, Sketchwhale and the rest of the takunomi team
