NEW ELEMENT: CHAOS

A new element has been discovered: Chaos. Adding 6 base abilities, 4 augments, 11 upgrades, and a new ring drop, the addition of Chaos brings the total number of unique abilities and augments in the game to 90!

NAMETAGS

Friends now have a nametag UI overlay to make them easier to locate. This can be disabled in Settings.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS

  • MultiplayerAdded the option to password protect games when hosting.
  • Added a new photosensitive mode in Settings that reduces flashes and suppresses HDR bloom and lens flares.

  • Numerous audio improvements, balance adjustments, and additional sounds.

  • Added Ultra Performance scaler setting for those who value framerate above all else.

BALANCE UPDATES

  • Light BlastReduced base charged damage from 600 to 500.
  • Vipers now have a more aggressive attack pattern, and targeting laser visuals and sounds have been updated to better communicate the surface to air missile attack.

  • Badder BossesReduced torcher spawn rate, which aside from becoming overwhelming, could negatively impact performance.

BUG FIXES

  • MultiplayerRemoved 30 minute time limit on the Reconnect prompt, allowing sessions to be resumed at a later date. Note: Clients must use the Reconnect button in order to resume prior sessions. Hosting a new game or playing single player clears the ability to resume hosting or reconnect to the prior session.
  • Molten Pillars Boss: Dead player bodies are now pushed by the moving platforms, fixing issues where revived players could spawn underneath or inside a moving platform.

  • Rain of FireFixed issue with the second and third fireballs applying extra damage.
  • Fire CloneFixed issue with the clone applying damage twice.
  • IncinerateFixed issue preventing redirecting Terra boulders.
  • Reworked Magnus Underlord pool exit animation that was glitching for client players.

  • Fixed issue preventing Entity statues from receiving continual ticks of damage from area spells.

Plus many more smaller tweaks and bug fixes.

1.1.0E HOTFIX

  • Tangled ReachFixed issue that would reapply chaos global upgrades with each tick, resulting in insane chaos link damage. Also, updated Tangled Reach to not apply chaos to invulnerable enemies. (Thanks FR0STB1T)
  • TempleFixed a possible way to get stuck while jumping into the vortex if you are trying your best not to fall in. (Thanks FR0STB1T)
  • Molten Pillars, Upsilon SectorFixed a respawn point that could trap the player inside of rocks. (Thanks Chi_GGPB)

1.1.0F HOTFIX

  • Fix for Chaos quick attack upgrades that could cause bounce damage reduction % bonus to be much larger than intended. Also fixed issue that could cause sprouts to excessively reduce their damage.
