The Black Pool changes
This patch we focused primarily on polish and smaller bug fixes in preparation for officially launching The Black Pool on Steam! It has been a long road to get here. Thank you to everyone who has supported the game to help us reach this huge milestone!
FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS
Following completion of World 4, the new music track Suit Up now plays while players select their kill bonus. New lighting effects in the Temple have also been added.
Numerous Temple updates have been made to improve overall polish, including the addition of twelve new murals.
- The DeviceWhen hovering over a Tier Up button, the new stat values for the next tier are now previewed and highlighted.
BALANCE UPDATES
Flux that falls into a respawn zone is now awarded automatically instead of being lost into the abyss.
Increased responsiveness of quick attacks. Quick attacks are now effectively fired on the very next frame following player input.
Player input is now locked out while the level is fading in to prevent accidental inputs.
When taking flux jump pads, air control is now locked out for a few seconds, preventing the player from accidentally holding a direction and failing to land on the flux event platform.
Updated high rank bonus attacks to not trigger while the enemy is stunned.

BUG FIXES
Some video cards were getting a stutter the very first time a spell was loaded. This patch adds a shader pre-caching process that fires in the background when starting the game. This is a very manual process, so if you still find something that causes a stutter the first time it loads in combat, please let us know.
Adventurous players have found ways to bypass spawns, which could prevent upgrades from appearing unless they ran back to trigger what they missed. This patch, a new system has been added to prevent these scenarios. If for some reason you ever get stuck, please report it.
Fixed issue where DLSS frame generation could toggle on and off, causing unnecessary frame dips.
Fixed issue where a non-valid resolution could be chosen when starting the game for the very first time.
Gloom: Adjustments to low and medium quality settings to improve visibility and more closely match high quality settings.
Fixed issue where server and client could desync when power ups drop to the ground.
- MultiplayerFixed spawn laser from beaming the incorrect direction on clients.
- Boulder Toss MultiplayerFixed client still seeing a boulder over their head for a few seconds if they abort a boulder toss by casting another attack.
Fixed issue where the chat window could fail to scroll to the most recent message.
- AchievementsAddressed issue with Steam not accepting some unlocked achievements. Now on startup, the game will check Steam, and reattempt any achievements that are out of sync.
Plus many more smaller polish items and bug fixes.

Underlord Hive Boss: Fix to prevent rare scenario where the last two underlords could get stuck in a loop casting invulnerability on eachother. (Thanks GIT-R-DONE-PAPA)
- Stone TurretUpdated collisions, preventing player from potentially getting stuck in the turret. (Thanks BeardedInk)
- MultiplayerFixed Lightning Strike having 2 visible bolts strike down on clients.
