Thank you to everyone for supporting Tempo and the Bazaar all this time.
We have been greatly enjoying making this amazing game for you and love seeing everything you come up both in game and out.
We have seen tremendous growth especially in the last few months and want to extend a special thank you to everyone who has left us a kind word, shared the game with their friends, or just enjoyed the game. We also wanted to give a special thank you to our mods, helpers, volunteers and playtesters who have helped us tremendously this past year.
~ Since it’s been one year since we came out of Open Beta, and we wanted to look back over the last year and reminiscence about the work the team has done on the game since.
Heroes
The game came out of Beta with the release of Mak, our resident alchemist. We then added the skyfaring Stelle and chef Jules, completing the original 6 roster that our beta players already knew were coming before releasing Karnok. Over time, we have added content to every Hero with many heroes having received 30+ new items since their release and we will continue to add new items and skills to all existing Heroes.
There has also been dozens of new encounters and monsters (including the Temple and Crash Site events) and many hidden interactions added.
Leaderboards
We know many players are interested in the competitive aspect of the Bazaar and have been working on various features to facilitate this. So far, we added leaderboards and have been working with the community to support the competitive side of the Bazaar. We will soon be expanding the Leaderboard functionality, and we are working on other ways players can compete more directly with each other in the game.
Other Changes
We have also made various improvements, including:
Localization
Server stability (still working on this!)
Systems compatibility improvements
Proper Resolution Support, including widescreen and windowed mode
Video Skip
Tooltip Upgrades
End of Run screen improvements
Gameplay Settings (Keybinds, Optional Toggles, etc.)
Coming Soon:
Monster Loadout Previews
Item Details View
Item Selling Hotkey
PvP Opponent Name Toggle
Mod Policy
We would like to announce our official policy on mods.
There are certain types of mods that have been causing problems and raises concerns. Specifically, these are mods that modify gameplay, game play speed, or otherwise directly communicate with our servers. These will not be allowed.
Other mods, such as information mods and accessibility features, remain allowed. We are actively working on several features that are in these mods, but do not plan to disallow such mods even when our features exist. Please note that we do use Unity, and updates to the Engine can sometimes cause mods to break. This will be the case with the upcoming patch which upgrades the Engine to Unity 6.3. Where possible, in the future we will try to communicate this ahead of time so that modders can prepare to minimize disruptions. The full mod policy can be read here.
Please note that there will be no enforcement actions on any individuals having used any mod in the past, so don’t worry about that!
New Features
We have a number of irons in the fire, and do not have too many specific details or timelines for this stuff. Features in the works include, but are not limited to:
New Game Modes for new ways to play the Bazaar, both against and with your
