changedHere is the next big update for The Ancient Lands. Below is the list of things that have been done: Tweaks: *The Tutorial has had a complete overhaul and provides a better understanding of the game's mechanics *Redone the Credit and Controls screen on the menu *A lot of code organization has been done under the hood *Did some changes to the GUI *When you pause in game, the menu options have been moved down to the lower right now
removedRemoved: *As of right now, the save system has temporarily been took out, but will be back in a later update.
addedAdditions: *A new map called Mountains has been added. A slightly more challenging map than the Forest with less available resources and an introduction to unique monsters *Granite Saber (Mountain exclusive enemy) has been added to the game *Briki (Friendly unit) has been added to the game. Brikis are ranged beings that are from the sky and their projectiles have armor breaking properties. Brikis are trained from the Sanctuary *Polymorph Spell has been added to the game. This power turns enemies that walk into the spell into cows. Does not affect boss units
changedBalance Changes: *Workers in stone deposits can now continue working when enemies are present. *Workers train time decreased some to allow faster training *The Unit Information Box will now keep track of current armor due to the new armor breaking ability added to the game *Difficulty progression has been decreased around 25%-30% *All walls are now treated as gates. Any villager can now walk through when needed while enemies cannot
fixedBug Fixes: *Fixed a bug when constructing buildings that you can exploit and get resources by simply trying to build over multiple buildings *Fixed it to where you cannot accidentally select your troops through the GUI at the bottom of the screen
