🆕 New Features:
A new block mining system has been added: blocks are now destroyed according to player animations and have destruction stages that persist when switching between blocks. Multiple players can now mine the same block together;
Added a faction of bandits: aggressive humanoids that attack players and hostile mobs;
Added a faction of settlers: neutral humanoids who fight back against aggression in some cases;
Added the ability to use the player model and clothing/armor to create randomized humanoid mobs;
Added the ability to toggle the shoulder and pan offset for the third-person camera. This can be changed in the video section of the in-game settings;
Added the ability to place OPEN_WOODEN_BOX and SMALL_OPEN_WOODEN_BOX on their side, with support for internal shelves;
Added a new player protection system: during the first three days, the number of hostile mobs around a newbie in the world will be less;
Added the /spawndrop command for Creative mode: using it makes the player throw the summoned block as a drop item, including the stabilizer;
Added bandits to some structures and outposts;
Added settler spawning to settlements and some structures;
Added 3 new types of clothing (for now only for use by NPCs);
Added wall variants for all SCRAP_METAL block types;
Added a rusty version of ENERGY_CROSSBOW_TURRET;
Added Finnish language support for the user interface;
Added an error message when it is impossible to take items from a backpack due to the game mode;
Added auto-jump angle setting;
♻️ Changes:
Damaged blocks revert to their destruction stages over time;
The spawning system for hostile mobs has been changed: they are now evenly distributed around the player;
Significantly updated the design and hitboxes of all fences and gates - they are now noticeably taller;
Mines and turrets around some buildings have been reconfigured to ignore bandits and be activated by other mobs/players;
NPCs can use items from their inventory, for example, eat, drink and heal;
Now NPCs pick up some items that interest them;
Hostile mobs now attack NPCs in the same way as the player;
The player no longer tries to automatically jump onto 1.25-high blocks;
The stamina switch has been removed, now it always works;
Changing the flight speed in spectator mode is now possible with Ctrl + Scroll Wheel (where Ctrl is the key used to toggle running);
Updated opening and destruction sounds for various containers and some blocks;
Normalized the volume levels of most stone, sand, gravel, and wood blocks;
The character model in the appearance editor menu has been enlarged;
Updated the world creation window;
Changed the placement behavior of SMALL_LEVISTONE_CRYSTAL: it can now be placed on floors, walls, and ceilings;
Updated the Polish localization of the game;
🐞 Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug in the chunk culling algorithm that caused visual discontinuities to appear at the boundaries of visible chunks when rotating the camera;
Fixed incorrect states of hostile mobs: they will now attack without waiting after spawning;
Fixed a mismatch between sounds and tags for some SLOPE blocks;
