Default Difficulties

Four difficulty levels are available by default:

Story: Designed for beginners and players discovering RPGs for the first time, or those who prefer focusing on the narrative rather than exploration and combat mechanics.

Adventure: The default, balanced experience for players, offering a well-rounded adventure.

Veteran: For players seeking a more challenging combat experience.

Darkness: The highest difficulty level, aimed at players looking for intense strategic challenges where every mistake can be fatal.

Create Your Own Challenge

You can also create your own custom difficulty by adjusting a wide range of parameters, making the journey across Terrinoth® either more forgiving or more punishing.

Here are the values you can freely tweak to craft your own experience:

  • Hero health points

  • Hero damage

  • Hero protection

  • Hero resistance to different elements

  • Hero vulnerability to different elements

  • Number of rounds a hero can remain unconscious before triggering a game over

  • Synergy gains

  • Enemy health points

  • Enemy damage

  • Enemy protection

  • Enemy resistance to different elements

  • Enemy vulnerability to different elements

Note: Resistance and vulnerability values modify base stats, not additional buffs or debuffs.

The Ultimate Challenge: Iron Man

And if you're looking for a truly unforgiving experience… Iron Man mode is made for you.

In this mode, every mistake can come at a heavy cost, as you only have a single save slot for the entire adventure. Stay sharp, think strategically, and be patient… and you might just make it through.

We surely hope you will find the perfect settings for you to enjoy the adventure. Until then heroes, stay safe and let us know which one you’ll pick for your first run!
