What are you working on?

Apart from this nice little creature:

Well... we're progressing on the main campaign (despite the fact that I'm very busy lately and I have so little time for Ternion). I know it's not big news, but if I were to write about every single change since the last post, I would fill several pages of information that no one could understand, except for the few who have tried the game. So, I had a different idea.

To keep you informed about the current stage of development for Ternion, here is the list of planets in the main campaign and their respective development status:

  • Honi PrimeCompleted (to be extensively improved)
  • Kiza: Completed

  • Atanaki: Completed

  • TSS: Completed

  • Raithu: Completed

  • Delta: Work in progress

  • Metra: Planned

  • Other content: Planned

I'm not counting all the scenes in which you're not on a planet. Additionally:

  • UI: Completed

  • Music: Completed

  • Modeling of characters and enemies: Work in progress (almost completed; all main characters, including some skins, have already been completed)

  • Gameplay: Work in progress (almost completed; the battle system needs calibration, and some abilities need to be implemented)

Unfortunately the "planned" stuff is very chunky and time-consuming, so they may take a significant amount of time. However, at least you know the current state of development! I'd like to share more but this is kind of a spoiler already so I probably need to stop. But if you want to know more, well, you could always join the development.

Beta testing

While I'm searching for people to help me improve the graphics and realism of the game, I'm considering sharing the game with selected beta testers.

If you'd like to join the beta testing of Ternion, you can send us an email (you can find all the information on our website), and we'll try to provide you with a Steam Key.

Please remember that the game is not even in an Alpha stage, so the graphics and some cutscenes/animations will (hopefully) be much better when the full game (or an open beta) is released.

Cheers, S
