Tear Them All changes
Hi everyone!
Steam Next Fest is officially live, and Tear Them All is part of it! I’ve been working hard since the last update, adding major features that will completely change the flow and feel of the game.
LOCALIZATION (4 NEW LANGUAGES)
The game is now fully playable in 4 new languages:
Turkish 🇹🇷
Brazilian Portuguese 🇧🇷
Russian 🇷🇺
Spanish 🇪🇸
NEW COMBO SYSTEM
Steam post image Stunning or killing enemies now builds your Combo Meter, grading you from D, C, B, A, to S.
Score Multiplier: As your combo grade increases, so does your score multiplier.
Longer Hitstops: The higher your combo grade, the heavier the "hitstop" effect becomes. At Rank S, your kills and finisher moves will freeze time slightly longer, making the combat feel incredibly satisfying and impactful.
The combo bar depletes over time. If it runs out, your multiplier resets back to D. However, the combo timer pauses while you are sharpening your pencil (reloading), so you don't have to worry about losing your streak while reloading!
END-OF-RUN GRADE SYSTEM
Steam post image Your performance is now being judged! When you die, the game will evaluate your total score and award you a Final Grade ranging from A+, A, A-, B, C, D, E, to F.
IMPROVEMENTS
Added continuous fire! You can now just hold down the left mouse button to keep shooting.
Melee attack range now dynamically decreases as your pencil gets shorter.
Added a circular cooldown UI bar to the Stapler Jump Pads.
- Nerfed ranged enemiesAdded a slight bullet spread to their attacks, making them fairer to dodge.
Added Wishlist and Bug Report links to the Game Over screen.
BUG FIXES
Fixed an issue where the player could get stuck inside other enemies during a Finisher attack.
Fixed a bug where enemy corpses would float in the air if they died while vaulting near a stunned ally.
Fixed a bug where exploding enemies' ink particle effects spawned at the world origin (0,0) when detonating.
Fixed a visual glitch related to FOV tween transitions.
