Team Ice Cream VR changes
We know, we've been using this image a lot. ːsteamfacepalmː Next time there should finally be something new to show!
Welcome to yet another weekly update!
For those new here, we post weekly updates with the goal of being completely transparent with our progress. Comments are open to everyone and we would love to hear your thoughts!
So What's New?
Let's return to tradition and start by covering our goals from last week to see how we did:
Plans for Week 16
Task ETA Steam post image Reorganize schedule Week 16 Steam post image Start work on game upgrades store Week 16 Table shows up-to-date progress along with ETA for active targets, if any.
We managed to start working on the upgrades store as planned and the schedule has been reorganized so that I (project lead) am in charge of most of the heavy lifting until the release of early access.
More Details
Those of you who have been around for a while know that it has been a trying time for us lately, but we are now getting back to business as usual. We can't thank you all enough for your understanding and nice messages!
Back to the topic at hand. We started working on the game upgrades store by designing the way it looks and works and will continue doing that this week.
We are setting a somewhat aggressive target for the store system to be done by the end of May. If we finish the store by then, we will be on track to have our first beta tests by mid-July.
We will then have a three-week summer vacation starting July 25 and ending August 14.

Table shows next week's targets.
Not a very long list this time. However, when our goal is complete, we can at least show you all something! ːsteamhappyː
We had hoped to be able to show you something new this month, but due to our failure to keep up with our initial schedule, that has been pushed to May. ːsteamfacepalmː
That's it for this week!
Want to keep track of our progress? Check out this post on our Steam discussion forums, it has a lot more details on what we hope to accomplish and by when we hope to be done, including monthly targets!
