So What's New?

Unlike last week, which was our first update post and as such quite the novel, this one is going to be more reasonable. We also discovered that Steam has some pretty handy formatting tools!

Let's start by covering our goals from last week and see how we did:

Plans for Week 8

  • Complete audio overhaul - Done

  • Complete order bubble overhaul - Done

  • Complete customer scoring - Done

  • Start work on menu system (planned completion by end of Week 9) - Started and on track

We managed to complete all the tasks we set out to do and made some good headway on the menu system. It is currently fully controllable by keyboard and controller, but VR is still a work-in-progress.

Steam post image We also ran into a customer who seemed to have an... Uhh... Adverse reaction to his ice cream? ːsteamfacepalmː Still gave a good tip, though!

More importantly, the tips have been properly balanced. There were some issues with extremely picky customers, whose expectations have been tamed. [/expand]
