changedThis update focuses on gameplay flow and early survival mechanics.
removedFirst, I’ve renamed several missions so they no longer revolve around “searching for family traces.” The objectives are now more environmental and exploration-driven, helping the story feel more organic as you move through the world.
addedTawa now has less health, which means you’ll die more often — but don’t worry: the game is still quite forgiving. This change mainly exists to introduce the first respawn tests and help balance risk vs exploration.
changedIf you fall outside the map, or a dinosaur launches you into the stratosphere, you’ll be teleported to the nearest resurrection stone. If the death is “normal” (damage, attacks, etc.), the game should automatically reload your latest save.

Here’s how respawn currently works:
If you fall outside the map, or a dinosaur launches you into the stratosphere, you’ll be teleported to the nearest resurrection stone. If the death is “normal” (damage, attacks, etc.), the game should automatically reload your latest save.
These are early systems, but they already help shape how survival will feel in Tawa. More tuning is coming soon as I continue testing difficulty, checkpoints, and flow.
Thanks for following the journey — more updates very soon. 🌿
