醉风酒 Taste of the Wind changes
Hi everyone! Long time no see. A (very) belated Happy New Year 2026!
I have two major updates to share with you today: ːsteamhappyː
🌟 Taste of the Wind is now available on Itch.io!
This is the same Demo as the one on Steam. If you’ve already played it here, there’s no need to download it again. However, if you have an Itch account, a follow would mean the world to me!
I’ve identified and tested a fix for the issue where some players couldn't launch the Demo. This was due to the game folder having a Chinese name, which caused startup errors on certain systems. (My bad! )
While it's tricky to rename the Steam Demo right now, the Itch version uses an English directory, so it should run perfectly for everyone! Itch Download Link:

(Rest assured, this issue is fully resolved for the upcoming Full Version on both platforms!)
🌟 Has the Demo "shrunk"?
If you notice the file size is much smaller now—don't panic! I’ve compressed hundreds of art assets. The game now requires much less memory to run, while the visual quality remains identical to the naked eye.
I’ve also implemented some basic clean-up and logic optimizations. There is no new content in this update, just a smoother experience!
Thank you for your continuous support of Taste of the Wind! Development of the Full Version is moving along steadily. I’ll share more details about the current progress in my next devlog!
