There is some new content here and there but for the most part we wanted to make sure the gameplay was as smooth as we could get it first. Thank you all for providing feedback and suggestions on both Steam and Discord, we have seen and read all of it, and these suggestions played a large part in creating this quality of life centered update.

Without further ado, the changelist:

-- UI --

  • Updated all UI with new visuals

  • Right click an item to mark for "recycling"

  • Items marked for "recycling" go straight to recycler (items will only be pulled until the lowest hp equipped item is fully repaired to avoid waste)

  • Sort button in inventory added

  • Mouse gestures such as "ctrl+left" click to move items can now be dragged to move multiple in a row

  • Marking items for "recycling" can also be dragged to mark multiple in a row

  • Double clicking an item will equip it in the correct slot (tracks always equip to right track, left has to be equipped manually)

  • R.E.M. Screen improvements (no changes to costs or effects of any R.E.M. upgrades)

-- Gameplay --

  • Added save system with the inclusion of Garages (explained below)

  • New ability: Smoke screen

  • New ability: Speed boost

  • AI behaviour changes and fixes

  • Added new compounds with garages

  • Added light and heavy track part variants

  • Recombinator now has upgrade limit

  • Runs renamed to Trials

  • Rebalanced a lot of tank parts

  • Fixed a lot of issues

Save system and Garages:

Garages have been added to the game and can be found in the world. These will return the tank to the main menu and save current equipped parts, CPUs and inventory. Progress in the trial will also be saved, defeated bosses will not drop previously collected CPUs and the distance you travelled will be retained.

The trial can be resumed at any time from the main menu. The tank will be reconstructed in a new garage somewhere in the wastelands. The garage the tank emerges from will no longer be functional. After reconstructions the same rules apply as before; if the tank is destroyed the trial ends.

Garages may appear in compounds, cities or as derelict buildings out in the wastes. The will be visible on the radar, you should be easy to spot from far even without it.

That is it for this update. The next big update to look forward to is called Wasteland, and will focus on the environment and more content.
