New Content & Features
Added a new NPC. The Merchant can be found in Nilehaven, next to the Stash. It combines two functions - a seller/gambler similar to gamblers in Diablo2, and also as a buyer, who will buy all items from you. Gambling is currently set at 1 gold to and all gambled items have item level of 99 and required level of 1 to assist with testing
Miscellaneous & Small Changes
Added a 'spawn in' VFX effect for enemies (e.g. when spawned by Monster Totem or summoned by Noxshade the Decayed) so they no longer just instantly appear out of thin air
Added 4 new Quiver sprites, replacing some of the old ones
Enemies now spawn-in 'Disabled' when a zone is entered. They 'Activate' only when they become visible to the Player on screen. Will slightly improve performance
Simplified/updated the background sprite when viewing/hovering a sign
Small Tweaks around the way Tilemap Layers/Z-index works and is resolved. More work necessary in the future. For now, wide enemies (1.5 tiles+, e.g. 'Ghost') will visually clip in eastern and western facing walls
Bug Fixes
Resolved a bug where extra content (e.g. Vanishing Chest) could spawn on the same exact tile as an enemy and in effect become untargetable
Resolved a bug with orphaned enemy nodes not being removed, which during long play sessions would result in a memory leak
Resolved an issue with south-facing walls in 'Forgotten Tomb' where heads of tall enemies (1.5 tiles+) would visually disappear behind the wall
Focus for next patch
UI/UX improvements
Enchanter NPC (Similar to Diablo 3/4, the NPC will re-roll a selected modifier on an item)
