Congratulations Talented Gamers!

You've made it to the 100th Talented Devlog!

And what an incredible journey it has been, we've gone from a time experimental weekend gamejam to a game with 6 Classes, 60 Challenges, hundreds of Talents and combined 10,000s of hours played time! We could never have expected such an amazing response to our quirky little idea of randomly generated skill trees, so thank you once again from everyone on the TurtleFox Team.

We've got a couple of bigger reveals in this Devlog, fitting for our 100th celebration. So strap in, and let's start with something I know people have been waiting for...

Trading Cards

We've added a suit of 9 Trading Cards for Talented, each of our Classes (including those in the DLCs) have a card of their own... and we've added a special addition for a community favourite:

Additionally, there are badges to collect and profile backgrounds for each of the 4 environments.

Better yet, these are all live right now! So you can start collecting this very moment.

Mythic Weapons

A new brand of Mythic Talents are dropping with the 1.4 update. Each class (including Ninja and Beastmaster) will be getting their own unique weapon that will fire whenever you complete a certain action iconic for that class.

Wizard, for example, is the master of Leveling Up - so he will have access to a weapon that is ideal for devouring enemies whenever he gains a level. But that's not all...

Activate the weapon enough times and it will gain a powerful upgrade for the rest of the run. Fully activated Mythic Weapons can be devistating win conditions all by themselves.

Warrior can gain access to unprecedented area of effect by gaining Rage, fully upgrading Colossi will grant him a second copy of the fist weapon allowing him to regularly clear the screen.

Summoner's right hand man is Manifest. As it orbits around it will summon a fly in every lane it passes through, upgrading it will both increase the orbit speed and add an additional fly.

Tracking your Mythic Weapon's progress is easy as we've added a special display above your Combat Stats that allows you to check where your Mythic Weapon is up to whenever you like.

We're looking forward to all of the new builds these Mythic Weapons enable once 1.4 drops!

So there's plenty to be excited about - and the story isn't over for Talented. The next you'll hear from us will be the release of the 1.4 update and then we can talk about what comes after that. Until then...

Stay Talented
