Hello all! Time for a change of pace, and what better way to do that than with an all new track! TrackDay03 is a fantastic short beginner track for familiarising yourself with the unique control scheme of Take The Wheels! and along with additional changes to the tutorial UI as well as other quality of life improvements, this latest update will help in making mastering Take The Wheels! a breeze!

TrackDay03 is a fantastic short beginner track for familiarising yourself with the unique control scheme of Take The Wheels! and along with additional changes to the tutorial UI as well as other quality of life improvements, this latest update will help in making mastering Take The Wheels! a breeze!
fixedChange so that when respawning from start it resets the time back to 0:00 ○ Decide if starts countdown from 1 or just immediately give control • Add in a new updated car model • Added a new track ○ TrackDay03 is a new short beginner friendly track set in a desert environment • Added sound effect for passing checkpoints ○ Also added unique sound effect for countdown/start • Fixed the DevTest track uploading times when it shouldn’t have been ○ As funny as it was seeing a time of approx. 2 seconds, it should not be uploading times • Removed reset freeze delay ○ You are no longer frozen for 0.2 seconds upon resetting to a previous checkpoint • Updated the Island_Hopping and Forest_Run tracks to have much more clearly defined track paths ○ Because trying to tell what was onroad and what was offroad was far trickier beforehand and led to confusion • Water has collision (again)! ○ This was accidently removed when the engine version was updated! • Out of order checkpoints no longer register if you pass through them ○ So you can no longer accidentally go through the wrong checkpoint and be unable to finish a track • Updated the game UI ○ It now tells you how to use a powerup! • Slightly adjusted bonnet camera location • Added a new power indicator to the back of the car ○ You can now tell how much throttle you have applied for each engine (in forward, reverse and boost!) • Fixed camera change button on controller ○ The input was being consumed by the "Next" action. This has now been fixed • Triggers on controller now move a car forward again • Slightly change the tutorial to hold down the thruster for approx. 1 second to ready up • UI navigation fixes • Added separate sound sliders for engine and sound effects (SFX)
