Tactical Annihilation changes
Commanders, the wait is over! The major Demo Update 260120 is now live!
New Units Available
Naval and air Force have joined the fray! Special units and structures like Shield Generators and Transports are now unlocked!
Commanders Expanded to 4
Two new Commanders, Emma and Caden, are now available! Commander Gates has also received a complete rework!
Unit Info Panel Reworked
The information display has been redesigned with a clearer layout, now including a command list.
Unit Filter Added
When activated, it highlights units that match the selected criteria.
Auto Decisions for Units
Reduces micromanagement burden. Activate by pressing the Spacebar on a selected unit or via the End Turn panel.
More Skirmish Maps
The Skirmish mode now offers a greater variety of maps.
Unit Adjustments
Generator's base income increased to 150.
Sneak Spider renamed to Mortar Spider, now with a 3-tile range.
The original Mortar Spider renamed to Assault Spider.
Anti-Armor Rocket Turret replaced with the heavier Heavy Turret, which is harder to build and harder to destroy.
Units like the Assault Bot can now move while reloading.
Other New Content
New terrain feature: Power Crystal. Building Miners on them generates Power.
The old "Swap Team Colors" option replaced with "Simple Faction Colors" toggle.
Generators can now be Overdrived to gain a small amount of Power immediately.
Engineers can now repair friendly units and assist in constructing allied buildings.
Action Preview now displays resource cost.
Player info in the top-left corner now shows resource income.
AI turn sequences can be skipped, or Free Camera can be enabled during them.
Mega units now have a separate tab in the build list. The Blueprint button provides more information.
Skirmish matches now conclude with a simple statistics panel.
The Skirmish setup page allows selecting different AI difficulties. Difficulty is determined by error rate and economy multipliers. The previous economy multiplier slider has been temporarily removed.
Other Issues & Improvements
Fixed visual corruption issues with the fog of war.
Fixed an issue where units hidden by fog of war could leak information.
Fixed several issues in campaign missions that could cause progression blocks.
Note: Save files from previous versions are not compatible.
