Tabletop Fantasy War changes
The Tabletop Fantasy War demo focuses on showcasing the game's gameplay, leaving most of the story for the full game launch.
What exactly is in the demo?
A semi-guided tutorial with explanations focused on the game's core mechanics. The tutorial is set in the world of Korsak and subtly hints at the direction the single-player campaign will take in the full game.
Once the tutorial is complete, the player will be able to create and customize their unit groups, as well as use the combat simulator to better understand the role of statistics and design groups strategically.
The player will have access to two factions: Aarbar and Corx. They can create unit groups for both factions and play skirmish matches and online multiplayer.
Skirmish mode will be available against the AI or other players via splitscreen.
Online multiplayer will be available with servers in the EU (Amsterdam) and USA (New York).
There will be two maps for 2 players and one for 3 players available. The maps are set in different areas of the world of Korsak.
Only one game mode will be available: Elimination. Basically, eliminate all opposing players' units.
For now, there are no leaderboards or competitive features of any kind around the online multiplayer mode. In online mode, you will be able to:
Create public rooms, and any online player connected to the same server can join your room.
Inside the room, there's a (simple) chat, and you can choose the map and the point limit for the match.
At the end of the match, statistics and scores related to your actions during the game are displayed.
And without further ado... here are some images from the game!
