Syringebound changes
Hello!
This will be a post about what's going currently with Syringebound and what you can expect in next big update.
First of all, I would like to address that I didn't have time, university and other things had to be done first and now I can freely come back to development.
Next update will be released in Early July. I had plans to release some small updates but knowing my ideas and potential of the game I had decided that the best way is to release one but huge update.
What can you expect?
Armed opponents and better AI: Enemies won't just chase you anymore, they are getting deadly weapons.
- TerminalAlongside reduced HUD, terminal will be important as player has better immersion within the game. It is going to be used to receive any upgrade or interact with near terrain. Retro but fully functional friend.
Points/Score & Leaderboards: A complete overhaul of points. It will now be used differently for more specific things rather than currency for everything. Your ending score is going to be used in leaderboards, now you can compete with others for best results!
Bossfights: Tough opponents with great rewards. Some will have rhythm-based movement and attacks attached to them!
Variety of music: Not only you will hear Vassamo's music in the game but also mine from old days (2019/2020 wow...). In that period I have found interesting parts which certainly were catchy to me.
The game will still contain only assets created by me to create unique atmosphere.
