Syringebound - Roadmap (December - March)

Hello everyone! First of all, I would like to thank you to everyone, who has wishlisted and played my game so far. It really means a lot to me. As of right now Syringebound is really stiff.

Repeated intro

Hello everyone!

What changed

0 fixes6 additions0 changes0 removals
  • Balance
  • Gameplay
  • Maps
  • UI and audio
addedAdding Explosions, overall gameplay adjustments. Opponents don't react to shots fired at them as well as clearing crowds can be tough with weapons not piercing everyone. Weapon recoil also feels a bit too accurate.
addedJanuary: New Content
addedThe plan is to have new syringes, new enemies, new maps and even new weapons released.
addedHaving new types of zombies/opponents forces you to move more as well as overall content makes the game contain more variety.
addedBy this point, if the game still lacks intensity I will focus on that aspect, UI improvements, visual overhaul - which means new animations! and... some other elements?
addedKeep in mind that I am a solo developer, so this roadmap might change as I brainstorm new ideas or receive feedback from you! :)

As of right now Syringebound is really stiff. There aren't really many aspects of the game yet so my main goal is to make the combat feel more chaotic and more satisfying. I am going to update the game regularly over the course of next few months:

December: Physics & Game Feel

  • Adding Explosions, overall gameplay adjustments. Opponents don't react to shots fired at them as well as clearing crowds can be tough with weapons not piercing everyone. Weapon recoil also feels a bit too accurate.

January: New Content

  • The plan is to have new syringes, new enemies, new maps and even new weapons released.

  • Having new types of zombies/opponents forces you to move more as well as overall content makes the game contain more variety.

February: Chaos Feel

  • By this point, if the game still lacks intensity I will focus on that aspect, UI improvements, visual overhaul - which means new animations! and... some other elements?

Keep in mind that I am a solo developer, so this roadmap might change as I brainstorm new ideas or receive feedback from you! :)
