We’ll be real—things have been quiet here for a while (too quiet), but that’s all about to change. From now on, we’ll be doing regular updates here—think monthly-ish. Whether it’s sneak peeks, sword reveals, or some spicy behind-the-scenes content, we’re here to keep you in the loop as we sharpen up Swordcery for you.

For those of you just joining us, here’s some Swordcery lore to catch you up:

Swordcery is an action roguelike developed by the duo at Temple Door Games (that’s us!). We’re two former animators from God of War now channeling our energy into crafting a magical, pun-packed experience.

In Swordcery, you’ll take on a celestial evil armed with an arsenal of magical blades, each wielding its own unique power (swordcery, if you will). These aren’t just your standard enchanted swords—each blade is infused with puns, wordplay, or are cheeky parodies of legendary weapons and characters.

Trust us, if you're a fan of dad jokes and/or magical melee madness, you'll like what we got cookin!

What's Next?

• Regular updates right here on Steam as well as new clips/screenshots

• Aiming for the Fall Steam Next Fest (yes, there will be a new demo! And maybe an even earlier one for Discord members hinthintwinknudgepoke)

• An Early Access launch (date TBD, but we’ll keep you posted)
