1.3.0 Addendum

A few fixes / updates existed in 1.3.0 which we forgot to note:

  • [Bug Fix] Fixing visual bug on Dirtbag's Burrow ability when you have Tower Torso

  • [UI / UX] Challenges that are marked as "claimable" will now appear at the top of the list (thanks @Cloudkracker!)

  • [UI / UX] Boss planets should also appear in the galaxy map

1.3.1

Gameplay

  • Null's Starfall slam now has a split-second longer to avoid, and also doesn't speed up in higher difficulties to remain a constant.

  • Zorpjets have been tuned after learning they were OP and melting Harvester Nodes on Hard mode

  • Eyeclops can no longer target Harvester Nodes with their Beam attack (was melting nodes, rarely and frustratingly)

  • Doubled spawn rate of highest-tier Mineral and Astronaut resources

Higher Tier Resources

  • Doubled the rate of higher tier resources in Nightmare (Planet 2+)

  • Doubled the rate of higher tier resources in Hard (Planet 2+)

  • Slightly increased the rate of higher tier resources in Nightmare (Planet 1)

The idea of these changes it that you can obtain higher tier resources at easier difficulties instead of needing to reach past what the player's personal ability is. We want the player to be able to climb into harder difficulties and this should help.

Analytics

  • Added some additional logging to help track down performance issues

Bug Fixes

  • Turbo Boost ability no longer hits twice, and direct hit damage multiplier was reduced from 20x to 1.5x.

  • Damage floaters for killing blows now show up.

  • Fixed an issue with players unintentionally selecting initial level up items

  • Null is now able to be staggered.

Known Issues

  • In order to track down some of the reports of continuing performance problems some players have been having, we've added some automatic perf reporting to the game. This system continuously tracks your game's performance metrics and logs an error report with some hardware info and where in the game the issue occurred. We are hopeful that this data will help us to turn around some targeted improvements in the coming days!

  • Controller Glyphs rapidly switching between Xbox and PlayStation icons when using DualShock 4 with Steam input

  • Ham Hawks are having issues deploying troops at a specific location on Sub Zeroni

  • Having issues? Discord is the official bug report depot, ensuring developers see what's going on and be able to work on a fix.
