๐ŸงŸHi Survivors!๐ŸงŸ

๐ŸšจSurvival Machine 1.0 goes live on June 12th! If you're new โ€” this post explains everything. If you've been here since the start โ€” welcome back! There's a lot waiting for you. ๐Ÿšจ

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ EXPLORATION - The world changes with every pass. There's always more to find.

๐Ÿš‚ At the heart of Survival Machine is a world built around a single moving fortress โ€” the Machine. It travels through the world in a continuous loop, but the pace is yours to control: slow down, stop to explore, push forward when you're ready. No area runs dry. The world reshapes itself with every pass โ€” loot moves, Points of Interest reconfigure, and secrets you missed last time might be right where you least expect them.

๐ŸŒ„ The Frontier Biome is where it all begins. Open terrain, abandoned civilization, forests full of resources. The further you stray from the road, the harder the zombies get โ€” it's a simple rule that rewards exploration on your own terms. Gliders and zip lines open up terrain that looks unreachable.

Steam post imageโ„๏ธ The Alpine Biome is what comes next. Narrower, taller, significantly less forgiving. Dynamic blizzards roll in without warning and knock out your buildings mid-fight. It demands more from you โ€” and gives more back. It's also where you'll find the most advanced technology in the game, including the blueprints for automated production and more!

๐Ÿ“ Both biomes are filled with Points of Interest that change between visits: different challenges, different layouts, different rewards. Some demand platforming, some puzzle-solving, some pure combat.

๐Ÿ” Dig into the world long enough and you'll start finding its secrets โ€” hidden caves, trapdoors, histories buried inside places that look empty at first glance. There are no map markers. Just exploration and instinct.

โš”๏ธ COMBAT - During the night, the horde comes. What you do about it is up to you.

๐Ÿ’ฅ Combat is direct and physical โ€” hits have weight, headshots have consequences. The sprint system is tighter in 1.0, and a Teleporter gets you back to the Machine instantly if you're caught out when darkness falls.

๐Ÿน The arsenal covers every range and playstyle: bows, slings, shotguns, swords, shields, and more. New in 1.0 is the Tesla Arsenal โ€” a full set of electric weapons built around chain damage and stun mechanics that completely change how you approach a packed horde.

๐ŸงŸ Seven zombie types stand between you and survival, each behaving differently. Some charge. Some stay at range. The Stinker gasses the area around it. The Gravedigger has a distinct attack you need to learn before it teaches you the hard way.

The Zombie Shaman โ€” new in 1.0 โ€” never attacks directly, but heals everything around it while you're busy fighting elsewhere. Learn to read a wave, not just react to it.

๐Ÿš€ And then there's Zombieburg.

The flying fortress of Zombiestein โ€” the game's central antagonist โ€” appears without warning above the Machine and has one goal: bring it down. It doesn't just hover.

Zombieburg summons zombie waves, forcing you to fight on two fronts simultaneously. It fires from a cannon. It launches multiple types of rockets.

Every appearance demands immediate response โ€” whatever you were doing stops, because if the Machine goes down, everything goes with it.

๐Ÿ’ฃ And when everything else fails โ€” there's the BFG. We'll leave it at that. Come prepared.

๐Ÿ”ง BUILDING - The Machine is yours to shape. Make it count.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Everything you build lives on a moving vehicle โ€” defenses along the battlements, crafting stations, production infrastructure, all of it.

โš’๏ธ Crafting covers everything from weapons and tools to consumables, unlocked through blueprints found out in the world. Items come in tiers โ€” the gap between early-game and late-game gear is significant, and pushing into harder areas to find better blueprints is always worth it.

โš™๏ธ Automation is 1.0's biggest addition to the crafting loop. Once you find the blueprint, you can build production chains that run without your input โ€” stations drawing from storage, processing materials, outputting finished goods continuously. Add resource drones to gather raw materials automatically and the Machine starts working for you while you focus on everything else.

๐Ÿ—ผ Automatic turrets are a powerful addition to your defense โ€” but they don't just plug in and fire. Power them up, connect them to your communication network, and they'll hold the line without you. Get the setup wrong and they go dark exactly when you need them most.

๐ŸŽ›๏ธ CUSTOM MODE - Your game, your rules.

๐ŸŽฎ Not everyone wants to play Survival Machine the same way โ€” and that's fine. Custom Mode lets you configure the core mechanics of the game before you start: how often zombies attack, how big the waves are, fuel consumption, item durability, and more.

Available in the lobby whenever you start or load a game. Play it your way.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ CO-OP - Every biome, every mechanic, every night โ€” better with friends.

๐Ÿค Survival Machine supports full online co-op for up to 4 players โ€” every biome, every mechanic, every night.

Divide responsibilities or figure it out together. The horde doesn't care either way. It just has more to deal with.

๐ŸŽจ THE SUPPORTER PACK

โœจ For players who want to go further โ€” the Supporter Pack includes:

  • Three exclusive Machine skins

  • Two character outfits with unique faces

  • Official soundtrack

  • Wallpapers

Cosmetic only. The Machine still works the same. It just looks better.

๐Ÿ’ฌ TO EVERYONE WHO BUILT THIS WITH US

๐Ÿ™ Early Access is a collaboration. You showed up for it. Every bug report, every forum thread, every Discord message about what wasn't working โ€” it fed directly into patches. Over 26 updates. Systems rebuilt, combat overhauled, difficulty rebalanced because you pushed back on it. This is what that work looks like.

If you're new โ€” welcome. This is the version to start with.

If you've been here since the beginning โ€” thank you, hope you enjoy what we did with the game! See you all on our Discord and in the discussions!

Dziฤ™ki!
