Survival Machine changes
Hi Survivors!
We've just released another hotfix focused on improving the co-op experience, Alpine Biome progression, quests, and overall game stability.
Gameplay & Progression
Removed the requirement to build the starting Ballista in a specific location, preventing progression blockers.
Fixed an issue where players loading an existing Frontier save and traveling to the Alpine Biome could immediately receive the wrong Roadblock quest.
Fixed an issue where interacting with the wrong Alpine Biome Communication Tower could prevent quest progression.
Co-op
Fixed several issues preventing clients from joining or loading into the Alpine Biome.
Fixed an infinite loading issue affecting multiplayer sessions.
Fixed missing notifications for co-op clients when interacting with automation systems (such as missing power or radio connection warnings).
Quests
Fixed missing HUD objectives for the following quests:
Faint Signal
Incoming
Autopilot
Triangulation
Fixed an issue where the Triangulation quest could fail to progress after interacting with the decoder if HUD objectives were missing.
Building & UI
Fixed a roof piece that wasn't snapping correctly to the building grid.
Fixed the brightness slider not working correctly.
Fixed missing localization text on the Drone screen.
Improved localization, including fixes for Traditional Chinese text.
Controller
Improved PS5 controller support on the Privacy Policy/Data Collection screen, where the D-Pad could become difficult to use during the initial setup.
