changedToday is a great day for Supreme! Over the last few weeks we have been working tirelessly to improve both the quality of the artwork, and the gameplay itself to make Supreme the best game that it can be. The culmination of this is the patch that we have just released, containing a significant number of major changes. For those who just want to get to the meat, here’s a quick overview of the changes:
changedMajor revisions to shops, including reputation, employees, operational hours, inventory, and more.
addedAll new artwork for the delivery city and polished driving mechanics. In addition, you can now deliver at night!
addedAn entirely re-written random event system which will allow us to add events easier and potentially allow for mod support in the future.
changedThe most significant changes are to the shops and the user interface. We wanted to clean up all of the existing mechanics and make them more fun. With our initial release, we tried to pack as many management features into the game as we could, without having a really solid base that was fun. We wanted to go back and improve that, before turning our sights back to more advanced management features such as advertising and the like. For the user interfaces, we wanted to move away from the menu bar and various windows that we had before in favor of interfaces that were more integrated into the gameplay. The goal was to reduce the amount of searching the player had to do and make everything more intuitive. Please note that all previous save files will be wiped as the files are incompatible. We would also like to hear feedback on these changes on the community discussion forum, as well as suggestions for future improvements that would make the game better.
