This update adds new controls options for general movement, with toggles for smooth turning and for your walk direction to follow your head instead of your hand. It also modifies the Time Dilation sidegrade for the Speed mode to have more consistent controls - you now just need to hold the grip button to slow down time. There are a number of minor audio and visual improvements, including new sounds for several sidegrades and a new design for the main menu screen.
It's been a while since our last update - our lead developer was sick and unable to work on Superfly for a month or so. You can expect new content to be coming out much faster from now on! We're currently prototyping a new combat system (including a new version of player health), and we hope to have a beta version of that ready for playtesting in 3-4 weeks. Longer term, we're also working on a story mode for Superfly, which will include an updated tutorial, new boss fights, and an evil supervillain! The old in-game tutorial has been temporarily disabled in preparation, as it was causing bugs for some players.
