addedThis update adds a huge new feature to Superfly: power customization! You can use the in-game menu to enable sidegrades for each of the movement modes, which alter the abilities and physics of the mode. Each sidegrade completely changes how the associated power plays: for example, the Thruster power has an Explosion sidegrade that lets you charge up explosions, then let them loose for a burst of speed. Each of the 8 movement modes has two unique sidegrades, and you can enable one or both at once, for over 900 different combinations across both hands!
addedWe also added a new movement mode, the much-requested Speed mode! Just like various popular superspeed heroes, you can sprint along the ground, run up walls, and jump across building rooftops. You can attack enemies by running into them – you’re moving so fast that you can crash through enemies like a wrecking ball!
addedThis update also brings a number of changes to the overall physics and combat systems in Superfly. The player is now much heavier and stronger than before, so you can easily lift cars into the air or smash through enemies by crashing into them. When you do smash enemies, you’ll see our new destruction effects: cars, robots, and even trees literally fall to pieces as they’re destroyed. These pieces are fully part of the physics engine, so you can pick them and throw them around too.
fixedThere are a number of other quality-of-life changes in this update as well. Billboards now spawn all around the city, including several billboards designed by Superfly community members! Cars and street objects should no longer spawn inside each other or explode right as they appear in the scene. We fixed a ton of bugs, including the Claw hitbox, cars driving in midair, startup lag, and more. See the changelog below for the full list of changes and bugfixes.
