addedWhat's New?Added the crafting bench, which allows you to craft things (currently just the sword and Multitool) Due to this, you no longer start with the wooden sword item. It should be of course noted that the crafting bench interface is quite primitive and will need further development down the line, but at the moment we're prioritising functionality over nice looking menus.
addedWhat's New?Added a basic day / night cycle, and a counter to count how many in-game days there have been. There is also now a clock in the centre of the HUD to display the time, just like in the original development of SUGA (pre-Multiplayer)
addedWhat's New?Added a small co-ordinate thing at the bottom so you don't lose where your house was in the infinitely-generate abyss
addedWhat's New?(In relation to the first point) Added buildable floorboards, which are cool

What's New?

The Build system is still under development, but is now larger than previously, slightly, many new things are still in the pipeline regarding the build system, we hope to show it off at some point soon. Other new things include:

  • Added the crafting bench, which allows you to craft things (currently just the sword and Multitool) Due to this, you no longer start with the wooden sword item. It should be of course noted that the crafting bench interface is quite primitive and will need further development down the line, but at the moment we're prioritising functionality over nice looking menus.

  • Added a basic day / night cycle, and a counter to count how many in-game days there have been. There is also now a clock in the centre of the HUD to display the time, just like in the original development of SUGA (pre-Multiplayer)

  • Added a small co-ordinate thing at the bottom so you don't lose where your house was in the infinitely-generate abyss

  • (In relation to the first point) Added buildable floorboards, which are cool

Notable Things to Mention:

  • The image attached is pre-addition of the actual clock texture, sorry, just realised this now

  • The building in that image is the current record holder for largest singular construction by a singular player, that is, as of 14/12/2025 12:41am.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug where only the host could pick things up

  • Fixed the bug that resulted from the fixing of the previous bug, which now meant only anyone but the host could pick things up

  • Fixed the bug where nobody could pick things up (can you guess how this happened?)

  • Fixed the bug where people couldn't craft things

  • Fixed a re-occurring issue where clicking the crafting table just disconnected people

  • Fixed more issues regarding layering
