🛠️ Changes
Reworked several puzzles, mechanics, and environments for an overall better user experience.
This also includes various fixes to several environments, including Memory Disposal and its chase sequence.
Updated the Clock Hint in the Basement to be a shorter length, improving localization support.
Various Setting changes and adjustments
The "HUD Icons" setting is now enabled by default.
Adjusted the GPU name format for the "Graphics" settings menu.
Added "Hit Lighting", "Dirt Mask", and "Color Fringe (Chromatic Aberration)" settings to the "Immersion" category.
Added "Smart Crouch" to the "Controls" category, allowing customization of certain player crouch behaviors.
Added "AO (Ambient Occlusion) Quality" to the "Graphics" category.
Moved the "Depth of Field" and "Motion Blur Amount" settings from "Graphics" to "Immersion".
Improved performance when using the "APPLY" button in "Graphics" settings.
Adjusted object support for "Interaction Outlines" setting, when set to "ALL".
Adjusted how key names "L-Click", "R-Click", "M-Click" are displayed to be more recognizable.
Outside of gameplay, the names are now "Left Click", "Right Click", and "Middle Click".
For In-Game-UI or other gameplay areas, an image of the mouse is now used to display these keys, similar to gamepad inputs.
Re-enabled "Toggle Narration" functionality and added a HUD Icon while the audio is muted from this key being pressed.
Adjusted the Flashlight HUD Icon to now be separate indicators of the player having/using their light.
Adjusted the frequency of hints when hovering over Squeeze Paths.
🔧 Fixes
Fixed a misplaced Emotional Encouragement zone in the Playplace Entrance area.
Fixed an incorrect voice-over being used for the Security Cam Intro, when using "Chinese (Simplified)" Voice Language.
Fixed various audio issues that could occur during the Arcade Ending.
Fixed an animation issue with the Arcade Ending gate.
Fixed one of the indicators in the Memory Load UI appearing dashed instead of solid.
Fixed AMD RX 9000 series GPUs not using Hardware Raytracing by default.
Fixed an issue causing a potentially incorrect default "Voice Language" setting.
Fixed missing localization support for the "SKIP" text in the Credits Screen; now named "EJECT".
Fixed an edge-case unintentionally allowing VSync to be turned on whilst in Windowed Mode.
Fixed an issue causing certain levels after the Playplace to not be loaded.
Fixed an issue causing certain Deep Storage levels to not be loaded.
Fixed being able to leave Walter's room in the Playplace Entrance area, before the sequence was completed.
Fixed balloons unintentionally receiving decals, leading to visual issues in certain locations.
Fixed an issue causing the player to be able to still throw pick up items while they were not visible.
Fixed the "Hide and Seek" achievement not being awarded in certain circumstances, depending on how the player participated in the Basement challenge.
