changedStrike Steam Gladius is launching in a couple of days. We've been working on the game for a year and half and are really excited to share it with all of you. It's focus is on brutal combat missions between your team and allied infantry and vehicles against teeming hordes of bio-mechanical aliens. Set in an alien planet, you'll fight in dust-swept deserts, humid jungles and even alien terra-formed terrain.
addedThe game build on our earlier titles but adds a lot of new mechanics such as:
addedDestructible terrain and explosive objects - Passive skills and events that new skills that trigger on death or enemy kills, etc. - Massive new vehicles including tanks, air drones, and heavy artillery. - Greater variety in character classes and aliens in terms of abilities and combat styles.
changedThis will be our first early access launch. Despite being early access, the game's campaign is complete. The game includes 18 characters classes and over a hundred enemy types. The game has gone through a full internal beta so should launch in a well-polished state. We're hoping that early access will allow us to get community feedback for the final spit and polish, balance tweaks and gameplay mechanics improvements. We're planning weekly updates and a relatively short early access period (likely 2 months or less, depending on feedback).
