Stone Rage changes
Hello, Stone Ragers!
One week after our big halloween content patch we are releasing yet another big content patch named "The cave patch". With this patch we are including the first pass on caves which are exporable on the map. We have also revamped all crafting recipes, and items to give everything a bit more logic. We are constantly working hard to find a good balance for all items and crafting and we hope you enjoy our new changes and additions.
New spear models, new basalt models, new arrow selection, new bow animation set and a lot more has also made it into this content patch. Next to content we have optimized a lot of foliage in the savannah and rocky desert biome. We would love to hear feedback on your performance in these regions.
November will be all about animals and animal play. Yep, you heard it. We are working intensively to add in basic animal gameplay into Stone Rage. Stay tuned for more and spread the word!
Feature Highlight:
Basalt
New farmable basalt model.
Caves
First pass on new caves
New starter tools
The biface tool is the very first tool you can craft and allows you to farm wood from trees and skin animals. The drop is very low though. The starter tool for nodes is the hammerstone.
Spears
We have reworked our spear models and they are looking shiny.
Arrow selection
Select different types of arrows via scrolling when having your bow selected.

Clothing fixes for Neanderthal species
Fixed broken weapon was not removed from hotbar issue
Reduced dead body search to 2 sec
Fixed fast looting issue with dead bodies
Unloading arrow now limiting movement speed until unload is not finished
Changed crafting ui a bit for better symmetry
Tooltip updated with minor infos
Crouch is now disabled while using bow
Strafing is now disabled while character is running
Added server flags for every server now
Neanderthal slower and more hungry than human male
Raw meat decreases health when consumed, but buffs hunger stats
Mousewheel indicator when bow is equipped (placeholder icon)
Condition loss updates for all tools
Shortened nights a tiny bit again
Fixed possible crash in equipment system
