Greetings, Captains!

I would like to start with some good news. We now have more than 3000 wishlists. This is a nice result for us, and we are happy that people are joining our project and waiting for it! Also, we are very thankful to everyone who joined the playtest and left feedback, especially useful feedback that helps us see what we can improve.

Next, I would like to talk about the combat system. Right now, it is quite simple. We are not planning to completely change it in the future, but still, we want to improve it. At the moment, while the playtest is active, we continue working on our current mechanics, and combat is one of them.

On one of the stations, which should become available in the second sector, the player will be able to buy extra consumable items for combat, such as missiles, torpedoes, and mines.

Missiles: the player can use them during combat, on their turn. They work on one target. They activate immediately. They have a cooldown of 1 turn, so you can use them every other turn.

Mines: the player can use them during combat, on their turn. They work on one target. They do not activate immediately, but on the next turn. They have a high chance to set the enemy on fire. They have a cooldown of 2 turns.

Torpedoes: the player can use them during combat, on their turn. They work on all targets. They activate immediately. They have a cooldown of 3 turns. They have a medium chance to remove enemy shields.

Besides these items, enemies in combat will also have a chance to lower our hit chance. They can also set our engine on fire and apply other negative effects. Speaking about extra consumable items, we will also add repair kits. Players will be able to use them both during combat and during the main journey, but of course with a delay. Later, we will also add extra icons to the interface, so players can better understand what damage we or the enemy received, and where it came from.

That is all for now. Wait for new updates, we will definitely share more interesting things with you. Thank you for staying with us!
