Greetings, Captains!

We have not shared anything new for quite a long time. This is because we have been fully focused on development to prepare a new and improved version of the game for you. Very soon, we will announce the date of the new playtest. It will happen this month!

Now, let us talk about the changes.

Earlier, we already shared information about changes to the game’s economy model, including how prices are created and how they depend on station effects, population, and station needs. We tried to make all of this more balanced.

There will also be small balance changes to the delivery system. Shorter routes will be added, so players will have more options instead of only long-distance deliveries.

We are also working on one major change in the game - Captain progression. Now, with every level, the player will receive 5 Talent Points and spend them across four different talent branches.

One branch will focus on combat, another on trade, the third on delivery, and the fourth will be a general branch for more universal things.

Players will be able to upgrade all branches at the same time. Of course, there will be some limits, but in general, we want to let players create the best build for their own playstyle.

The talent branches will be divided into 2–3 sections. At the moment, the total number of talents is 76, so we think there will be a lot of room for different builds.

It will also be possible to reset talents in the game, but the player will need to buy this service at one of the stations.

During the playtest, only the first section of each branch will be available.

We also heard that story quests are not always easy to notice. We also wanted to make tracking normal quests more comfortable, so we added quest notifications.

Players will be able to track 1 main quest and 1 side quest. They can be hidden or shown again, depending on the player’s choice.

That is all for now. We will announce a more exact date for the playtest very soon, so if you have not signed up yet, please sign up.

Stay tuned!
