Stellar Freight: Echoes of the Void changes
We have a new update for you! Because we take part in the Steam NEXT FEST, we prepared an improved demo version:
Added a tutorial to explain the main game mechanics
Updated and changed the battle system a little
Added a story quest line “Sector 1” (in the demo it is a short version)
Worked on game balance
Fixed some bugs and softlocks
Improved the user interface
Reworked the domination system
And many other small updates
During the festival, we will read your feedback and, if possible, make quick fixes. But we must say that soon after the festival, we will close the demo version and publish a form for those who want to join testing.
After that, we will stop updating the demo and focus only on the full game. Still, we want to share some things that will come in the future:
A new alien race - depending on your choices, they can be your enemy or ally
A new reputation system - use reputation points at special stations to change events in the galaxy
New types of stations with unique features
You will be able to choose your ship captain at the start of the game - each captain has unique passive skills
A new cargo system for open travel and delivery tasks
More advanced trading - several types of resources for buying and selling
Ship inventory
And many more features to make gameplay deeper and more fun
