Hey everyone! We’ve been hard at work expanding the demo and polishing the experience based on your feedback. This update brings new toys to play with, gameplay adjustments, atmosphere upgrades, and a solid batch of fixes.

🚀 New Features

Added two new Drones:

The Grinder, built for high close-range damage, and the Las Cannon, which pierces armor and deals heavy long-range damage to multiple enemies.

Added a Retry button to the Game Over screen.

Dynamo is now the default selected character on the character selection screen.

Camera now slightly zooms out when you take Weapon Range upgrades (up to a limit).

Added heavy rain ambiance to the Lighthouse level.

⚔️ Balance & Gameplay

Increased Bear rotation speed.

Extended raid length for “Lighthouse” and “The Port.”

Removed Slugshot from the Orbit position.

Removed Buckshot from the Fixed position.

The following Orbit weapons now target enemies randomly:

  • Buckshot

  • Gatling Gun

  • Taser Gun

  • Rocket Launcher

Increased Orbit Drone rotation speed.

🐞 Bug Fixes

Added fallbacks for cases where a general or weapon upgrade cannot be found.

Decals now correctly interact with fog.

Fixed SFX continuing to play when returning to the main menu.

Resolved ultrawide resolution issues — ultrawide is now fully supported.

Fixed resolution dropdown sometimes displaying the wrong previous selection.

Fixed drops spawning inside the starting grid.

Fixed new level or difficulty unlock rewards appearing even if already unlocked.

Black Market cost text now properly changes color based on price.

Adjusted Bear fire direction to be more accurate and straight.

Prevented UI interaction while the Steam overlay is open.
