Hello!
A little update from my side. I am focusing heavily on improving the first time experience for players, mainly by making Squars a little bit more pleasant to the eye while keeping it minimalist and as square as possible. JOIN DISCORD and say hi! ːsteamhappyː
Getting rid of programmer art:
Making UI changes and trying to make my square towers look better is something way more challenging for me than just simply implementing a new mechanic. Nonetheless I am pretty happy with results and find working on it quite satisfying in the long term 🙂 Below new “models” for some of the towers. I still have more towers to improve and the whole UI to fix!

More readable font:
I had to sacrifice font squareness in favor of more readability and less eye sore when reading longer texts. Still, the new font is from the pixel-art family so I would call it a compromise!
