Spires of Morosith: Gossamer Sundered changes
I’m excited to expand the game’s localization support to three more languages because it means the game is more accessible to more players! This update looks like a lot of text, but is ultimately a lot of noodly polish things that bring me joy to build. However, there are some neat new features, such as persistent 2x speed settings, slo-mo, and a more responsive mission select screen.
NEW:
Added French, Spanish (MX), Portuguese (BR) support.
Fire VFX spawn on the Spires when they are damaged.
When placing structures, Game speed is reduced to 20% speed.
Setting 2x Speed persists through each mission.
Grainwraiths now have Spawning VFX
Reigniting Spires now heals the Gossamer in the Mission Select screen.
UPDATES:
Updated existing language support (Ru, De, Cn) for the features added since last localization pass.
Achievements and Store pages are now localized. (This update however, is not!)
Mission Info popup now vertically aligns with the selected mission, and does not cover the Spire clicked on.
Fixed a hole in the wall in the Mission Select setting.
Mission Select and Play Again buttons in the Mission Complete popup are now localized.
Removed the Hit Flash from the Abhorration and Nightshade Siren.
Mission Selection table now rotates when popups are open instead of freezing, and does not snap back to 0 when the popups are closed.
Updated the visuals for the Plane the Grainwraiths spawn from.
Updated the Mission Thumbnails with the new Tear graphics.
Buttons now change color when they’re pressed, to help them feel more responsive.
Adjusted the direction of the Wind for a number of missions.
Disabled color correction in post processing.
Adjusted Environment lighting to compensate for the color correction.
Did a pass on the Tower and Structure UI Buttons’ color correction.
Offset the timing of the Thrall animations on the Nightshade Siren Cutscene.
Iterated on the Abhorration’s yellow particle trail.
FIXES:
Fixed the Walls in a couple of the Delver City missions that did not block pathing.
Fixed the Quest UI Display so it properly localizes.
Fixed an issue with the Confirmation Popup that triggered when changing Locales.
Addressed a number of VFX sorting issues, mostly regarding Tears.
The options menu should no longer be in a busted state when accessed in the Mission Select menu.
In-game Bestiary button now responds to clicks.
Fixed bugs where towers were not muting during Pause.
Fixed the Materials applied to the Level 3 Slow towers.
