Hey everyone! We’ve been working hard to expand the progression systems and make each run feel more impactful. This update focuses on the brand-new Logbook, where you’ll unlock spells, modifiers, and relics by completing mini-objectives—adding more long-term goals and variety to every session. We’ve also introduced a major quality-of-life feature: Auto-Attack. This addition makes combat feel smoother and more responsive, especially during intense moments. And last but not least, we’ve done a significant rebalance pass, especially on the boss fight, making it much more challenging and satisfying to beat. Let’s dive into what’s new:

This update focuses on the brand-new Logbook, where you’ll unlock spells, modifiers, and relics by completing mini-objectives—adding more long-term goals and variety to every session. We’ve also introduced a major quality-of-life feature: Auto-Attack. This addition makes combat feel smoother and more responsive, especially during intense moments. And last but not least, we’ve done a significant rebalance pass, especially on the boss fight, making it much more challenging and satisfying to beat. Let’s dive into what’s new:
fixed🛠️ Patch Notes: 📖 New Feature: Logbook Progression • Unlock spells, modifiers, and relics by completing specific objectives. • Some elements are available by default; others must be earned. • Accessible via a new UI panel both in-game and in the Hideout. 💎 Ultimate Crystals and Weapon Unlocking • You now earn Ultimate Crystals as rewards for reaching higher waves (starting after round 15). • Use these crystals to purchase and unlock new weapons. • Some weapons are unlocked by default; others must be discovered. • Introduced a new interaction object in the Hideout for weapon management. • Weapons are now equipped in the Hideout, not selected at the start of a match. 🔮 Magic Items • Magic items are now properly integrated and drop with up to 2 enhanced stats. • Their stat values are stronger than regular items, adding more build variety. 🧠 Smarter Looting • Items are now automatically equipped after looting if nothing is equipped in that slot. • You can still drag and drop to manage your gear manually. ⚔️ Auto-Attack System • Added the Auto-Attack mechanic to improve game feel and accessibility. • Players can now toggle Auto-Attacks on/off during gameplay. 🧟 Boss Fight Rework • The boss fight has been heavily rebalanced for more challenge and fun. • Expect a tougher but more rewarding endgame encounter. 💰 Economy & Balance • Gold rewards have been reduced to better match the new progression pace. • Weapons, spells, and modifiers have been rebalanced for improved game flow and diversity. 🎮 Controls & Input • The game now uses WASD movement exclusively. • Mouse-based movement has been removed. • Default controls now include mouse buttons and Q/E for abilities. • Spell indicators now trigger spells when pressing the input a second time, instead of needing a click confirmation. 🎨 UI Improvements • Various UI updates to support new systems like the Logbook and weapon management. 🐞 Bug Fixes • Fixed multiple bugs to improve stability and performance.
