Speed Rivals 1.0 Major Update is here

This update brings one of the biggest content and gameplay improvements we have added to Speed Rivals so far.

Alongside the release of version 1.0, we are introducing new customization options, more meaningful differences between car categories, new decorative miniatures, and a brand-new circuit inspired by a real slot racing club in Madrid.

Paint your cars in the new Garage

Speed Rivals now includes a Garage where you can customize and paint your cars.

This is an important first step toward giving players more freedom to personalize their collection and make each car feel more unique.

Car categories now feel different

Each car category now has its own balance of speed and grip.

This means players should clearly feel the difference between categories when driving. Some cars will be faster, others will have more grip, and choosing the right car for each circuit becomes more meaningful.

For multiplayer races, all players use a shared common speed setting, keeping the competition fair and focused on driving skill.

New miniatures and decorations

We have also added new decorative content for the Track Builder and diorama scenes, including:

  • New miniatures

  • Decorative cars

  • Food truck elementsSteam post image

  • Icy mountain scenery

These additions help bring more personality and variety to custom circuits.

New Madrid Slot Racing inspired circuit

This update also includes a new circuit inspired by a real slot racing club in Madrid.

We want Speed Rivals to keep celebrating the culture of slot racing, real clubs, handmade tracks, and the passion behind this hobby.

This is not the end

Version 1.0 does not mean we are finished.

We will continue adding new cars, miniatures, decorations and content regularly after launch. Speed Rivals is built around community creativity, track building and long-term expansion, and we want to keep improving the game with future updates.

Thank you to everyone who has played, tested, shared feedback and supported Speed Rivals during Early Access.

See you on the track.
