Speed Rivals Update v0.9.3b

A new major update is now live for Speed Rivals. With v0.9.3b, we are officially bringing local multiplayer to the public. The game also supports Steam Remote Play Together, which means that only one player needs to own the game and can invite up to 3 friends to join.

Local PVP is now public

Local multiplayer is no longer just part of our early testing phase — it is now fully available to all players. The mode keeps the same race presentation format:

  • 4 cameras in total

  • 2 split-screen views

  • 2 share-screen

And thanks to Steam Remote Play Together, you can also play with friends remotely while using the same local multiplayer system.

Gameplay and official track updates

We have adjusted some internal car variables, so vehicles now run slightly faster. We have also updated the official circuit list:

  • Some official tracks have been modified

  • New official tracks have been added

  • Some player-made Workshop circuits are now part of the official rotation

  • Those tracks now have their own leaderboards

New cars

This update adds:

  • 2 new F1 cars

  • 1 Batmobile-inspired car, based on the first car request ever posted in the Steam forums

New miniatures

We have also added several new miniatures, including some requested by the Discord community:

  • Paddock Steam post image

  • T-shirt shop Steam post image

  • Garage Steam post image

  • Pyramid Steam post image

  • Trees Steam post image

  • Sea buoy

  • Tunnel

  • and more

What comes next?

We are still actively developing the game, fixing issues, and implementing feedback. For the next major update, we may revise parts of the interface and add the Garage. After that, the focus will mainly shift toward expanding the game with more cars, more miniatures, and more circuits.

Thanks for supporting Speed Rivals and helping us improve it step by step. 🏁
