One concern I’ve seen a few times—and one I understand—is whether Special Request is the kind of project that drags on for years.

It isn’t.

From the outset, this story was designed as a definite four-chapter arc, not an open-ended episodic release. Chapter 1 introduces the invitation: protection, framing, and the illusion that things remain manageable.

Everything that follows exists to dismantle that safety, step by step.

The current development plan is clear:

  • Chapter 2 — planned for June

  • Chapter 3 — planned for December

  • Final chapter — planned for next year

All chapters are designed to import choices and consequences forward. This is not a reset-based structure, nor is it a live service model. What happens carries significance.

  • Chapter 2 is a point of no return.

  • Chapter 3 is where pressure turns irreversible.

  • The final chapter resolves what the invitation set in motion.

Chapter 1 was never meant to stand alone — but it was meant to prove that the story is moving, controlled, and going somewhere specific.
