Repeated intro
Hello, traders! It’s a glorious day that you don't need to pay Chad Shakespeare a cut of, it’s SCENARIOS DAY plus some some additional fixes*! “ What’s a scenario ”, one may reasonably ask, well, if you don’t think I’m about to tell you then our relationship has got off on the wrong foot.

Scenario mode is our sandbox for providing you new challenges, each of which has a twist. Unlike the campaigns you’re not making money for someone else, this is pure baby trading. Pick your portrait and your title and get trading.
We’ve got six scenarios to start with, which you'll unlock once you complete Pixem and Mr. Zip-It's campaigns. Here's what we have waiting for you in this first batch:
Get In, Get Out: You've got three days to make as much cash as possible.
Adopted Hometown: Pick any planet on Day 1, but that's the only place you can trade for the remaining five days.
- Red OceanEvery day, you'll have random planets removed from your trading terminal. Weave your way through to make bank.
Galactic Disease: To a trader, a disaster is an opportunity to make even more money.
White Knuckle: No consultants, no side bets, and the trading moves FAST.
Quota: Over 20 days, our longest challenge yet, every five days, you'll need to exceed a target that increases throughout the run. Oh, and we're taking 80% of your money on those days, too! Good luck!
Scenarios mode also has a running tally of how much money you've earned for extra “ I truly am a Baby Trader ” cred to share with folks. As you win trophies, you'll unlock new portraits and titles to use in Scenarios mode.
This is just the beginning for Scenarios mode! We have ideas. More scenarios will land along with new campaigns in next week's free content update. But until then…
See you out there,
- Chris @ Strange Scaffold *Which sounds less exciting but neither are beans. Nobody is cheering for beans but I'll tell you, you miss them when they aren’t in a stew! The game is the stew.
