Hello friends! Welcome to devlog number 6!
It's been a while since you've heard from me, but let me tell you that I'm still working hard on the game. What started out as a "smaller" game has now turned out to be a big horror-sci-fi-cyberpunk game! The average playing time is between 8 and 10 hours, depending on whether you want to uncover all the secrets. And there's a lot to discover! There is a lot to tell and as always you can read about some changes and new features below. I hope you like it!
The Prologue Because the game has become very complex, I decided to implement a prologue. The prologue is used to better classify the story and the background. Why does Abraham end up in the Freedom Towers, what happened before the Freedom Towers? You can experience all of this and more in the prologue and of course play it too, because the prologue is not an animation or video, you actively play the prologue. The prologue is an outdoor level, with a road and traffic system. There are some houses, a school, a hotel, a gas station, a working cinema and much more. Of course you can explore all of them.
The mobile pickup truck In the prologue there is a pickup truck, which you can see briefly in the trailer. It is completely drivable and interactive. This makes it easier for you to overcome the longer distances in the prologue. From the cockpit view to the external view (there are 5 views), everything is included. A working car radio with selectable radio stations, 3 light modes, windshield wipers is also on board. The pickup is fully animated, which means you can open doors, use the loading area and so on. The pickup is not only used in the prologue, but also a little later in the game.
The Phonesystem In the prologue you will find old telephone booths (later in the game there are also telephones but in a different style). You can call and receive calls from these. They also serve as progress saves in the "Hard" difficulty level. In "Hard" mode you have to dial a specific number to save the game. You can also look forward to some very scary and funny calls and conversations.
The Collectibles I have now implemented a collectibles system in addition to the Steam achievements. You can collect various items in the game which are then available in a collectibles screen (which you can access from the inventory). The collectibles are not just simple collectibles, but some also have a function and can give you advantages in the game. Of course there are also collectibles which unlock prototype drawings or small videos of the development of the game. You can also expect a few funny Easter eggs. In the next few days I will create a separate update on this where you can also see pictures and videos.

Finally, I would like to mention that you can look forward to regular updates from now on. Check back now and then and feel free to leave feedback, requests or suggestions in the discussion thread. I will read this regularly and look forward to your numerous comments. I would also like to mention that you should take a look at our publisher Bonus Stage. There you will not only find numerous high-quality games, but also a very nice, funny and, above all, respectful community.
Welcome to the family!
