Sole Salvation – Demo Update
Gameplay
Bosses can now be defeated by depleting their health, not only their stability.
Increased the number of hits that cause knock-back on small enemies.
Non-combat stat upgrades can no longer be found during a run.
New item rewards have been added. It is now possible to receive new rewards after combat encounters.
The room system has been reworked: room rewards are now displayed as the primary information, while difficulty is shown as secondary.
Combat Feel
Improved responsiveness of several weapons.
Added new visual effects.
Camera
General camera improvements.
Improved camera behavior while aiming.
Carcosian Tower Mode
Rebalanced waiting times in Challenge Mode.
Rebalanced rewards in Challenge Mode.
UI and Quality of Life
Removed redundant tutorials.
Reduced the length of some tutorial texts.
Increased the size of compass icons for previewing upcoming rooms after combat.
Added a summary of the current status in the STATUS tab.
It is now possible to press the “Back” button to exit the death menu.
It is now possible to press the “Back” button to exit the weapon selection menu.
Changing language now requires pressing the confirm button. Cycling through languages no longer applies changes automatically.
Performance
Added the “Frame Skipping Quality” option to reduce animation frames for distant enemies and lower CPU usage.
General
General performance improvements.
General gameplay experience improvements.
Various bug fixes.
